speaking as a fan of Morrissey, I would just like to point out here that the new Morrissey album, Ringleader of the Tormentors, comes out on Monday and has been described as his best yet. I for one am relatively optimistic. If anyone here is an avid Morrissey fan (as I am swiftly becoming), I'd love to exchange views on him and his music. In my opinion, he is the greatest living British musician... discuss my pretties!!! haha[/i] |

What do you think of it ken?
I'm a bit underwhelmed to be honest. Its a good album but nothing grabs me quite like You are the Quarry did.
As for greatest living British musician I dunno. He'd be near the top for sure. Its a difficult one because when in a band it can be difficult to discern where the true genius lies. Its tempting to say Thom Yorke but who knows for sure what the creative process is in Radiohead. Equally, I'd be tempted to rank Karl Hyde (Underworld) or Tim Booth (James) up there but thats just by virtue of being frontmen. _________________ Resist ID cards and the database state
