Hey dudes and dudettes.. as ye all know, Australia's never been a soccer nation... UNTIL THIS YEAR! Surprised

And I've noticed alot of pommies, brits, UK, and what ever else you want to call yeself.. Molkovich's too.. So I decided 'hey, lets all talk sport' sicne we all can share the joy and sledging of Soccer Smile

I personally believe that the Socceroo's should follow Reg Reagan's advise 'Stuff the ball just kick Ronaldo, he chokes it like Nick Faldo, stuff the ball and kick ronadlo, and all those other fat brazilian blokes' (no offence to anyone of course) But I believe.... Croatia's screwed on friday 5am (my time.. GMT+10)

Aight, so like.. I reckon we should all sit down, have a cup of tea with some scons and crumpets, and voice our opinions on the current worldcup standings.. Smile

OMFG! gotta reply on this one for sure.

I'm not real patriotic on this game - Disneyland never makes it to the cup - so i'm really fair watcher and like rater and stuff...

Netherlands 4ewa! - that's me main idea. I simply love that team. Hope they beat a sh*t of Ports
Also - Equador. They made quite surprises in the groups (losing to Germans doesnt count =P ). I just love their spirit, theyre always happy and allways so energizetic and stuff... Theyre way 2 go. Unfortunatly theyre against Englishdoods and even if they somehow make it they got to fight against netherlands which is no way that happens.
Also - I loved The Angola's defence abbilities. They have quite amazing goalie guy. I loved their match vs Mexico. Too bad they only play with only one FWD guy by the name of Aqua (I somewhy dont manage to believ that's his real name =] ) who doesn't make much alone in the first game. They started putting some more on attacks later.
Brazil is bit screwed this year, they dont play as eledgantly and clearly as they used to. Shame on them. And yeah - Ronaldo got bit slow and round l8ly.
Too bad Rooney dood is injured and stuff and he can't play full-time but still he makes quite nice when he plays.
France is totaly noobing like in the last WC - I bet they will lose to Toga. Lol...

That's pretty much all of me opinions. Go Holandish ball kicking doods!

I never thought it could be the germany 2006 World Cup, i have heard good&bad things about that Cup?!
( I just can't remember what it was )

What about Australia's spirit man? This is HISTORY for us. Soccer is the ONLY sport Australia has not conquered thats played world wide. We beat Japan 3-1 with a contreversial goal AGAINST us, we managed to hold Brazil off 0-0 at Half time, then 1-0 and a second goal for them coming on the NINTIETH minute (which was also a crap goal..) Plus the fact that Brazil didn't just go for a walk in the park, we made them earn it big time.

The ref in that match was bias. Which was evident by the 25-9 penalties handed out (25 FOR Brazil, and 9 AGAINST brazil) And they were ridiculous, just watch the match.

And Croatia vs Australia is on in 5 hours... it'll decide whether or not we go to secound round against Argentina (?) who're currently looking to win the cup :s

Wow, didn't know you guys had a HISTORY at Soccer, i guess my country is not quite interstead in historical sports yet! Mann.. i hope Australia wins, cause two of my friends lives there, i wanna support them Razz

last night was urber gay. We made second round on a 2-2 draw. But goal line shoulda been like ATLEAST 5-1.

RUGBY TACKLE in the goal box whilst Viduka had ball readying shot - not awarded (watch it, no way that wasn't a penalty).

DELIBERATE HAND BALL on an Australian free kick, Croatia deliberatly battered the ball away with there hand, I DON'T MEAN THE GOALIE!

Goalie crossed the goal line with the ball, no goal awarded. A free kick awarded against Australia for LEGITIMATE PLAY >=\ The goalie went over the goal with the ball, then came the 'interference' the ball never was kicked out of his hands.

Yeah, like life's unfair most of the times... Didn't your mum tell you that when you were little greenie yourself?.. ;] You got to live with it and make it even more unfair for others to make it a bit more fair for yourself =] Hope the Aus wins the next match.

Can't believe that the freaking France made it to 16's.. They're like so noobish.. er... greenie... yeah - greenie... =] I think the Toga was worth more to make it than them not to mention Korea and Swiss. They won't make it against Spain for sure.

IF Australia play Argentina.

Croatia v Australia match almost got a rematch on it due to poor reffing, but lucky Aus got the draw. Anything less, they would have demanded a rematch because the game was just bs. Got lots of support from so many different countries about how crap and bias it was. A player reciving 3 yellows and not off the field.. whats goin' on there ay?

I reckon we'll lose to Italy cause Brett Emerton's off Sad

If Kalac is in goals, we've def lost! :O
