I was having an idea for a rpg based on the Chrno Crusade's world.
The story would mostly happen in Europe and America, but your chars can be from Japanese origin. My idea was, after people know the whole story about the demons and exorcists, 63% of the earth population would become Christians and the other 37% Satanists . The number of hostile Legion demons ( Legion: Low ranking demons . They have different shapes and sizes, usually deformed and monstrous, and have very little intelligence.) appearing is rising constantly and so, Magdalan's Order has been under pressure. A new order founded by demons, "Mephistopheles Order", ruled by an unknow demon and 7 captains (each one has a clan, the clan's name would be one of the 7 deadly Sins) was recently discovered, when the Militia spied and later ambushed a small group of Demons who we're on a task for that Order. (the task is unknow though and all the Militia know is that there is a new order and it's name and nothing else) More about this Order would be know later in the story.

You can be:

Nun: A female member of the Magdalan Order. Nuns are able to use different kinds of weapons (mostly firearms) and other types of equipment (like cross- barriers).

Minister (or priest): A male member of the Magdalan Order. Ministers are able to use all sorts of weapons, but they seem to be experts in hand-to-hand combat.

Jewel witch (or Jewel summoner): A person able to use the power of magical jewels. (does not belong to Magdalan's order, but can be hired for works)

Apostle: A person that is able to call the Astral Line and use its powers, mostly for healing purposes. There are seven of them, from different parts of the world. The Apostles can fly using their luminous white wings, which appear on their back whenever they need them. Their supernatural powers, however, have a very high cost for them, and they are the reason they are targeted by ambitious people desiring to use the power of the Astral Line for their own wishes. (You can be an Apostle, but you shouldn't know that or if you do know it, don't yell it out loud. =P Also, you can be a Nun/Minister and an Apostle as well, Jewel Witches and Demons can't be apostles.)

Demon: Monsters who are mostly hostile towards humans (Not to be mistaken with the fallen angels of the Bible who rebelled against God). Demons in the CC universe, though they do seem to have a violent nature, are not completely evil. They are born with a material body, they are not immortal and they can be either male or female. Demons have their own society, an oppressive community similar to a beehive, where everyone has a rank according to their power level. High-ranking demons are similar to humans in intelligence and figure, except that they never grow old, and have extraordinary powers that are based on the energy of the Astral Line. All demons are born from one mother, Pandaemonium, the demon queen.

Magdalan Order: A religious, militaristic organization that specializes in battling all sorts of monsters and investigating mysterious supernatural cases. There are several branches in the United States, but some of the most influential ones are in NY and Chicago. The Order also has the duty of protecting people blessed with special abilities (like the Apostles) from any evil person who desires to use their powers for their own ambitious purposes. The Magdalan Order is also a powerful, technologically advanced organization, and its members have to undergo a very difficult military training and are sent to all kinds of dangerous missions.

Basically, it's just Chrno's Crusade with a new storyline and you rpg your adventures exorcising/defeating demons but adventures like spying someone, protect someone or just a little vacation are just as fine too. Nuns and Ministers are essecially needed for the story. You can have a partner or a group of people with you. If ya have any suggestions for this Rpg, shout! XD

Weapon: sharp cards that give out a dangerous aura and those cards can cut through anything, even flesh and metal. ANYTHING.

Background: She's a high ranking demon that looks like a regular human girl. She's very powerful, although some demons mistake her for being weak since she's a female. She brings her cards with her all the time in a little deck stuck to a belt she wears.

Well, yep. =___=;; But they can be really small, I find that actually cute. =P
If you don't have horns, they you need to do a contract with a human or you'll sooner or later...die.... >_>...

ah, I know! She doesn't have horns when she's normal but when she powers up her demons powers they appear and disappear whens he's done? =P That way you don't have to do a contract. =P

Background: Was found at the doorsteps of a church. Raised as a nun, she accidentally found out that she was an Apostle. The nuns there decided to use her for evil purposes, and in the end, Selena ran away. She swore she'd get revenge, and decided to make a contract with a demon.

I'll say that a demon possessed the head minister, and then corrupted the entire church to use Selena's powers or something. Along the way, they killed the lady who was like a mother to her..

And she swore to get revenge to kill that demon and the people that followed him.

But she won't TRY to destroy Magdalan's Order, but she might kill some people in it. ^^
