hmm ...
nothing ever will come to my mind on a GOOD dubbed japanese anime
they KILLED the very soul of some animes
and i swear to god, if they dub azumanga daioh and used a crappy voice for chiyo-chan *me goes insane*

I love the voices in Fruits Basket and Fullmetal Alchemist. The characters don't sound the same as the original but they still match very well and keep the mood the same. Except for Ritsu in Furuba! The dubbed voice for him was awful!!!

The worst for me would have to be Fushigi Yugi and Sister Princess, although i never really liked those shows much anyway.

I haven't seen many english dubs but the best are Record of Lodoss War, Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040, Robotech and Landlock while the worst are Sailor Moon and Tokyo Babylon.
I've seen mostly greek dubs and the best were Candy Candy, Sailor Moon and One Piece while the worst were Dragon Ball Z, Slayers and Rurouni Kenshin.

no really i do hate them all, maybe cept for one piece and Rurouni Kenshin oh and shamn king(i think english one is way better then the jap on), they got funny vocies XD the rest i hate so much, naruto is the wrost of them all Evil or Very Mad

Best dub are FLCL, Slayers [I just think their voices matched the characters], and..... ummmmm x.x god I can't think of any others at the moment.

One Piece and Naruto are the worst! If I have to listen to Luffy's voice one more time, I think I'll strangle my TV.

I've gotta say, there aren't a lot of well dubbed animes out there na no nya. Take Sailor Moon and Card Captor Sakura for instance, they SLAUGHTERED them nyaa. But I think the best ones are (that I've seen) Fullmetal Alchemist *great voices, didn't cut a lot of stuff out*, and Inuyasha *again, good voices* nyo. The way I see it, you can tell an anime has been dubbed well if it's on late nya. Because, if you think about it, Japan allows more violence and language on their cartoons than we usually do na no nya. So, if the anime has been dubbed well, meaning that the violence and language and everything else is still kept, it would have to be on later to keep little kids from watching it na no nya. That's MY theory anyway nyaa.

The problem, to me anyway, is that we don't have Voice Actors like they have in Japan. We have actors and we have radio personalities, but no VAs. So they get actors, who are so used to acting to do voice acting, and it just isn't the same, and then people are all shocked. WELL DUH. When they start casting people because they can VA, not because they are good actors, or they're "a name" or whatever, then maybe things will be good.

The worst too is when they try to make their voice sound like the original japanese voice. People who speak english have different voices! Aiyaaa! That's what was so bad about Sailormoon. The chick had this deeep voice and then she tried to make it squeakyhigh and it was AWFUL. That's why I never ever ever watch dubbed.

I mean, if something is made with one voice, why watch it in another voice? It's a strange concept for me. I'd much rather read the subtitles and hear it how it was made to sound.
