OAC North East Region Tournament 2012 Results

Congratulations to Warren G. Harding, the first place winner, and Cloverleaf, the runner-up in the 2012 OAC North East Region Tournament. Both schools will advance to the OAC State finals on May 5 at Columbus State. The championship round between Warren G. Harding and Cloverleaf had several lead changes and went into double tie-breaker, with a final score of 56-55 in favor of WGH.

This year the OAC implemented a state-wide bracketing method for team placement on the bracket. Each team’s coach/team captain selected a ‘pill’ numbered 1-16. After all the teams had selected a number, they were called up by their number, and allowed to place themselves onto the bracket where the coach/captain wanted. The numbers/teams were as follows:
