I've had this error before. but cant remember how I fixed it! Trying to select objects in certain areas of the editor cant be done and is very frustrating. I have to use the 'Search for Actors' function to select anything! :sad:
The right-click context menu doesn't seem to work right either, although I could probably get rid of the errors by reinstalling! but geez what a hassle!
I couldn't find anything on it in the wiki or in the forums!
EDIT: Still not sure why it was doing that, but I reinstalled using the Anthology version - and it was still doing it!
ANSWER: It was my antialiasing settings on my video card for cryin out loud!, apparently if you have those settings and use them - they need to be turned off when using the editor!
I'm having trouble with some buttons not working right! Any suggestions?
Turns out it was just my FONTS being too big! Cuz I can't see worth spit! LOL! :|

| Lets see....I got permission to use the HSP logo from an old map of Wangtang's (HSPHall), and the texture is properly saved to a package called mylevel. When I try to put it in my map, and then build the map so that it is playable, it pauses on and runs the "Illumination Occluding" build process a lot, then when the build "cleans up" at the end, about half of my map is erased! |

Thats weird. The only case I can thing of that happening is when 2 peices of BSP don't get along. Delete the freshly added piece of BSP and try to construct it another way. I thing the goneness might just be a BIG BSP hole. Can you possible screenshot this? _________________

No vid yet..(Thanks for the speed in sending the account comfirmation e-mail, youtube! [/sarcasm]), but i have another issue.
I made a "Made by..." sigh for the map, and i have the picture saved in the proper format, but I can't import it, even after going to the import texture section and importing it, it is nowhere to be seen. _________________ [HSP]John

Ok, so you have your picture: MadeBy.pcx. I usualy save these in a folder in my UT directory called: Custom Textures. Open your UED and get the texture browser open and go to: File > Import. Choose MadeBy.pcx and a box will pop up. Place in the following details: Package = MyLevel - Group = Logo - Name = Should be done already (Chooses picture name). if you wish to change it, then ok. Please put MyLevel, it means you dont have to include extra pacages when sending the map. Now, in the browser, click on the top most drop down menu, and choose MyLevel. There is your Texture. now save the map to save the texture. Place it somewhere where people will see it. _________________

ParticleMaterial Particlematerial0 [1 pass]
(0x0)

Ok, that looks Strongly associated with the BSP hole situation that I said about. The only way I could provide help would be to view the map. Now, for some reason, when two peices of BSP are aligned in a funny way, they don't show. Now, I can send a small map, that shows what can cause it, and it may help you to see where you may have gone wrong. _________________

Do you want me to PM you a beta of THIS map (with no changes since the video)?
Also, I noticed that this "BSP Hole" seems to happen only I mess with an old HSP logo from HSP Hall. It will put that logo (texture) on the wall, and then when I build it, everything dissappears. _________________ [HSP]John

It may be referencing a missing or renamed texture/emitter, and when the compiler can't find it - its all about freakazoid time or at least error city!
