Warren G. Harding won the OAC NE Region today, and Cloverleaf was runner-up. Both Warren G. Harding and Cloverleaf will advance to state finals at Columbus St. on May 5. WGH went undefeated, and in the semi-final Cloverleaf defeated Copley to emerge from the consolation bracket. The championship match between WGH and Cloverleaf went to double tie-breaker, with the final score of 56-55. Congratulations to WGH on winning the region. This will be Cloverleaf's first trip to state finals.

More results will be posted, (scores, etc.) after I catch my breath.

Does anyone happen to know if this will be Copley's first missed state tournament since 2001, or have they not made it in other years since?

They missed States in 2009 I believe.
