Geezus H, I'll have to put together a whole new system again just to see if I can run it! :/
But seriously though, is it just me - or does it seem like game engine tech is advancing way too fast? I mean I barely have time to enjoy the games I have - let alone going out and getting all new expensive gear every few months and paying through the nose just to see if I can run the new games!

Hm, I thought the same thing. My computer preforms pretty well and can run most new games, so I think it'll last at least 3 more years. However, I've noticed that, and correct me if I'm wrong, most game companies are working toward improving the realism of a game rather than creating long single player missions (but don't get me wrong, realism is pretty sweet). Not only that, but recent games are more focused on multiplayer than single player (which, of course, is also great). Still, I would prefer a single player campaign with great gameplay, unique and interesting story, and an adequate number of hours to complete (or just one day, anything passed that is way too long for me).
I have to agree with you. All of these new high tech hardware and software is awesome and all, but it would be nice if gamers didn't need to upgrade their tech every three years just to play the latest games. _________________

New games? Not worth it.
New tech? Sure is.
You may not care about running the latest stuff, but having a fast computer is beneficial in every way anyway. _________________ Kick up that pan.

True dat man. Except, it ruins the excuse of "my computer wasn't working" to avoid writing reports. _________________
