Why would I pay for maps that probably include campers, spammers, and general nubs? MW2 Is cool and all, but I'd rather get BC2 than pay 1/4 of the price of it for five maps that probably won't be so great. BC2 might give free maps >_>

I mean I could see, a mission pack with a fair size map update - but 5 maps? :|, unless of course these new maps are so awesome they become the mainstay in the rest of the games life cycle.
But seeing as how - to my knowledge they still don't have plans to include community modding, it's hard to believe that these maps are going to extend the games re-playability to any longer than it would normally last - but if they follow these maps with a new features update, then maybe they already have an upgrade path planned out with regular additions every so often to keep the game popular?

That's just my opinion, if someone else has some inside info to the contrary - fire away, I'm all ears!

Maybe a sneak peek at some in-game beta-tester footage might be in order? Before forking out more good money for mediocre maps! :P On the other hand, not getting them will exclude you from playing with friends that do get them!
