True we all were but it be nice to at least divide it into 2 sections? I mean guns ships, striders, APC's, and combine ALL the time would piss me off if they got in my prop... so how about this. We divide the city into 3 section again, remove the peasants part and put in destroyed houses and places taken over by combine we can get a small team and raid the houses. Also what do you all think of the monorail system? there are four stations, one at the spawn, one in the corprate buildings, one at the combine buildings, and one at the light house. One more think I just thought of, should there be a hangar with heli's, planes, and jet fighters? Since there would be combine gun ships around high in the sky, we can (again) get a small group and take them down. Going off topic for a moment... I would never stick NPC's into a map, it creates lag and theres no easy way to regenerate them, and to keep them inline should they get too close tot eh spawn.
Fog acts as an anti-portal, if you look at the fog right, you can see where the stuff disapears and the terrain blocks out.
Mono rail would be a haslt to put in the map.
Teleporters sound like a good idea, I could make a fancy tele like in HL2.
Addition of buildings to map is good idea, adding full/damaged buildings. Buildings would mostly be for show and have to practical use, other than create areas to make anti-portals. _________________

OK. You can take out combine zombies planes jets ect. But you can spawn em in when its the right time right? Still i think you should divide it into 3 sections. Grunts idea of teleporters from hl2 are awesome a least a way to get around would be niceanother thing is that the weapons need to be closer and more far from the car garage. Reason why is that people who get here first, go get weapons , set mines and camp in there, and go to the top of the garage and snipe. THAT prevents the others from going to getting weapons
(for protection) and building also, the cars suck in the garage, i mean, except for the siren, and opel blitz what about adding buggies? You can make one with the guns out or something? But then you would be forcing people to build THUS creating a new problem which is boringness. You see, im saying to solve the CAMPING in the garage and undergrounds, not solve the KILLING problem. With no guns we get less people building isnt everything! This is Head Shot Pwned not Build Build Build! I think we should represent our clan! make maps, mods, skins, and more game types for sniping and pwning. Cmon the server IS kinda getting boring, I dont see any of you guys going on much. Is this how weak we are! All talk but no fight?! I think we should prepare and try to get in some clan wars face to face, sniper against sniper on their turf and on ours! Now that Extreme, is the best thing I have ever heard you say!
Look at SSS Sniper and PSI, I love their gaming style, hell I played on their servers for 6 months solid in the past. If we went to a sniper clan in stead of a crappy build clan, then we may get more serous players on the server, unlike we have now because noobs hate sniper because we're better then them in a situation where they cannot spam. We also need a change in sniper rifle maybe, or a better skin that says HSP on the side. Something that represents the clan. _________________

What else for the map, what about the shield pickups or something, why not some type of Combine Container, half open and you can grab em through that?
Anyway Chris, why not SEVERAL sniper rifles? All are really the same in stats, but the looks different. I for one, would love a Hunting Rifle, like the R700, I HATE the current one, it just has that feeling of...being underpowered for me.
Every one would spawn with each type, the first one out being the type we have already, then they can change between them, or we could have some type of menu...letting us choose which one to spawn with. _________________ Inability to think independantly.

Right on! we should go out there and tell the other clans whos boss!!! I always wanted clan wars I saw my dad do it when he was in TAW, who ever showed up would be in, they would all be on team speak, and tell the positions of the offensive team and split out positionit could be a fun time for all of us and more people would come to the server and sign up on the forums cause they know we will be having fun 8) clan wars is a great time to get orginized fix our strength, practice our skills, and gett more people in our clan, I also think we should up the expectations of the clan, it was easy to get in for me... maybe a harder task? Like the three task of god on indiana jones, the last crusade!

No! No! No! you got it all wrong! Guys, you see, we can make NEW maps especially for sniping, just for clan wars, ok, here is my plan, we send out one to three of our members to look for sniping or pwning clans. It will be just like a basketball game,first clan war will be on their server and there guns and their maps, then next time it will be our server, our guns, and our maps or, then theirs again or visa versa. Again clan wars can be a great part of our strength and show what clans the best but its getting boring on our server so more people might come to join because they want to do clan wars. But thats just to keep the clan and its people happy until we get the UT3 server up, it will be awesome!!!

Please, stay on TOPIC, that type of stuff can get one of it's one, if it's so important.
Anyway, instead of those stupid billboards, why not actual screens, like in HL2, with that guy speaking. It could be some programmed voice or something this time, saying what the board there used to bear. This'd help the problem with noobs failing to stop, wait, and carefully read them, this time they'd HEAR it, so they'll always know. _________________ Inability to think independantly. |

Changes to C17:
-Addition of ambiant builgins to take up some space.
-Added "Building shells" for players to build inside of. Height varies.
-Canal District is partially destroyed, and is the "ghetto". Destroyed builgins are there, and will provide a place for possible battles.
-Made a police station sort of thing. Might make a cheap Cop car.
-Added a Habor in, located off the Suicide point hill. It has a tug boat and a warship docked there along with warehouses full of crates. This will also provide a good location for battles.
Contemplating adding in either teleporters (simple ones, sorry no fancy spinny things) or a trolly/tram sort of things. Either that or ill make a simple bus vehicle for players to drive. _________________
