First off, with all the new FTP file manager programs and more and more services being offered by game server sites to compete for your buck - managing a paid server is a lot easier than it used to be.
It's more convenient and very fast to transfer files from ftp to ftp for the sites that offer it, along with Installer files being offered by more Mod developers that can be uploaded or transfered to the server so the admins can install them.
By a regular server, I meant a paid server that has load balancing inherent in the server software to reduce lag and improve performance.
Also with sites trying to offer the best bang for your bucks, their really not that much - with some starting at $10-15 a month for 10 player slots.
As far as what content gets installed, does it really matter when the admins & players will be the ones to pick the game types they want to play - with or without BW or any other mod thats not that popular with regular players.
BTW! I'd be willing to bet that the newest incarnation of BW is a lot more server friendly than the first versions that had so much trouble.
As for myself, I'd be willing to donate a few bucks a month to be able to play at least a couple times a week on a lag free server with a bunch of friends. 8)

Actually, Wang was right for the most part - the servers I was reading about when I saw all that cool stuff were regular website servers, as most all game servers don't have near as many perks as regular ones.
But, yeah! Wang likes his server - as do we all so convincing him is out of the question.
I'm thinking it would have to be an independent effort and I don't think Wang would approve that at all! :(

May I bring up the "Evil Genius Interrogation Chair"? We got Demo to sit in it once...as a joke, but he was AFK.
Anyways, my server basically works and stuff...not entirely bling bling in mods but the constructor stuff works and I have sentinels to guard propertys if needed.

I can get Wang to sit down, A) suspend his PC in the air in front of him, but just off the edge of the cliff, if that doesn't work, use muscle relaxants so he can't resist.
