This brings me to my reason for making this thread.
With the introduction of a new Mechwarrior game (which looks awesome, and is to use the Unreal 3 Engine)

Release is to be sometime this month (August).
I am hoping I can get your guys interested in this game, as its alot of fun to play with, and would be great if I could get a team going here. If you want to try out the game, there are plenty of trials out there, just google 'Mechwarrior 4 download'.

I'll be sure to get it once they release it, I've played it once, it seemed like a fun game.
Although they probably won't update xfire, I know a guy that can hack up some support for it. _________________ Kick up that pan.

I used to have all 3, and a few expansions - but they got ripped off a long time ago.
I forget what engine they used before, I don't think it was unreal.

There's a new game coming up, a reboot of the series.
I don't know if it'll use the Unreal 3 engine, but I know it looks nice.

UT 3 looks nice but the engine has kinda slow gameplay, not as fast pace as UT2004 BTW i also have mechwarrior for super nintendo _________________

The engine is an engine, it's slow because Epic coded UT3 to be slow. Anyone could change the code to make it faster. _________________

maybe, but then again UT3 has better sizing, ut2004 made me feel like i was 4 feet tall. And ut3 has fairer gameplay, ut2004 if the bots are in dm and set to a high-ish difficulty then they will jump around like kangaroos on steroids. _________________

Well to be honnest a good dodger can dodge about 20ft on UT2004, because people could move that far in a single jump the maps had to be large, hense why there are no small maps. UT3 however had the movment revised and larger maps were no longer needed. _________________
