Russia. 30KM around the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Some time after the disaster.

You are the Marked One, named that due to some strange tatoo on your arm. You don't know where you are, who you are, or even what happened. Welcome, to the Zone.

The zone is a 30KM radius around Chernobyl, mutated and radiated extremely. You must fight your way through hordes of mutants, bandits, military, mercs and Monolith, to discover the Zones origin, and real secret located in the center. Find, sell, or use Artifacts you find in the zone, spawned by the anomalys, dangerous fluxations that can inflict chemical burns, electrical shock, impact damage and more. Items are outdated in the world, but still highly useful in the Zone.

Mutants include Bloodsuckers, a Count Dracula legendary monster, that has tentacles for a mouth, which it uses to paralize a victim, and suck it dry of blood. Controller, a humanoid mutant with a rather large head, able to psy attack humans, and causes a red flashing, drunkish effect in a radius.

So Stalker, will you be able to uncover the Zones secret, find out who you really are, what happened before this journey to find out started?

Graphics ain't exactly the best, the game was a bit...rushed, but excellent atmosphere. On August 29TH, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky will come out, which includes everything the orginal Stalker was meant to have, much more realistic, and better graphics. Mods and reskins are available for this everywhere, making it even better.
