Lets see we are a group of nerds that have no lifes
To think it took us this long for a half life review is a paradox in itself
In half life 2 you play as Doctor Gordan Freeman a theoretical physicist that (has a nac with guns and) worked in black mesa during a experiment gone terribly wrong (aka in half life one). The "G man" has put you back on earth 10-20 years after the "black mesa incident." where the combine you fought in the first game have taken over the world and are trying to end the Human race! Not only that but Dr.Breen the admin of black mesa during the incident. is on there side.
Now you have to save the world...again. with your handy dandy Crowbar you face the combine. Headcrabs (and headcrab zombies), antlions and hunters (thank the stars that the Vortagon are on your side or else you would be properly f**ked) picking up any weapon you can find like the smart lad you are. If it so happens that one of those guns is a Zero-point energy manipulator (also know as the Gravity Gun) then goody for you.
as you move through this wonder of a story line and shoot through the mindless gunfights you realize that the game pleases everyone...Except those that are easly lost (like muwah) I sometime moved around in circles looking for the one minutely visible exit that wasn't the one i entered or the one little tiny thing needed for a door to open. but its made to be a puzzle game ...although 99.9% of the puzzles are a see saw puzzle of varying sizes from a bridge to 2x4s. anyway gameplay is fast paced till the puzzles and always has a BALLS TO THE WALL ending that lets you pitch around soldiers like they where bouncyballs _________________
