Simple random generator scripts can produce similar if not exactly the same results if executed at precisely the same time the cpu timer is resetting, especially if the routine to get the rand(0) # only goes through one time for the results of each successive loop to be different from the last loop - but from run to run can be the same, as when you turn on your computer and a random number is generated from the same initial default random seed the processor starts the timer with.
I'm not just saying this because I think it could happen, a long time ago I made a very simple random drawing program on an Apple-IIe with an 8bit 6502 cpu - just to see what it might produce. To my surprise, during the first few runs and versions of the app 1 in 10 runs had drawn a fairly recognizable rendition of Abe Lincoln from a slight side view - with beard to match. But as I progressed through successive versions and added more loops in the random routines, each drawing was vastly different from any other it produced.
When I finally realized the reason for the same random sequences was that I set the program to run as soon as the computer had finished booting, it was only logical that the timers were starting out with the same random seed.
Long story short, randomness is all in the timing! :P

There are more bots massing out there!!! Lol the admins are going to have fun deleting all the bots. Any posts by these things should also be deleted so we can preserve the forums.

Another thing is the bots seem to have started posting when we started posting less and less. Maybe they are programmed to keep the forums alive or something...or just spam...

I think it's more like an empty forum is less likely to be actively blocking spam bots!
I f you ask me, I'd say they are some sort of sports news spam bots huh? Or at least some other news bot type, maybe just to post links in a list of malware url-stealer sites.
BEWARE! of IE hijacker sites, and make sure your pop-up blocker is still active and or working while surfing this forum since it doesn't seem to be actively maintained anymore!.
BTW! THE ADS ON THIS FORUM ARE NOW BEING DIRECTED TO VIRUS MALWARE & TROJAN INFECTED SITES! SO BE VERY CAREFUL WHAT YOU CLICK ON!!!
This search produced 2 Trojan hits, both referring to the current ad being displayed at the top of this forum:

So far all I've seen is that the ads on this forum have changed, and those links I posted were to show anyone reading where those ads were going - but your right, if they can change the ads why not the links we post?
I guess I'm not going to be on the other site, as Wang hasn't answered any of my emails or PM's about not being able to sign up.
Anyway, be careful checking back on this site - hopefully you haven't been having any connection problems lately, I on the other hand have had my router hacked into and reset. So now I have to setup it up again so I can run my server like I have been lately doing some beta testing on new maps.
