It was made two weeks ago, if you'd have kept up to date, then you could have witnessed it's greatness with everybody else when it was new : /
@ Dev:
Nope, no new ones, however I will look into making one similar to the lines one as people liked it. Say, rigid lines? (It'll use the same aura effect with different color combinations.)
Any ideas folks? _________________

Glowing transparent symmetric/spiral symbols/glyphs? with a zoom motion blur! :P

Is anyone having trouble with the java on that page? I can't seem to get mine to show the graph! Ok, after a reboot it finally shows! - CoOoL!o :P
BTW, If you DL the ZIP on the page and edit the HTML 'width=900 height= 600' you can make a larger pattern.!

So there I was, in my friends place of work. I had been looking around for him for quite a while. Anyway, he wanted to see my swirly lines creation as he shares a general interest in Abstract art. So like I was saying, I was looking around for him when a freak accident happened. I dropped my Lines art into a PlastaWrap machien! Here's what it did:

I have a favor to ask!
Can one of you wonderful arteests produce for me a desktop background of my liking? I go through many backgrounds, but just can't seem to find the one I like.
As for a reference, this photo by Scott Ramsoomair has many qualities I like. For one, the colors please me. I also like the flat look of it, though alittle 3d lighting or shading would be nice. If the style could be of such like the backgrounds from Windows, as in the wavy arches and such. I don't know what I'm talking about but mabey you do :)

If you're looking for something specific, then I'll need more reference pics, I'm not that much of an artist imo. The stuff I do looks complecated, but really, it's not.
The more pics you can show me, the better job I'll beable to do. _________________

I talked funny :P | I would suggest loading up that ONS Toon map and looking at some of the shaders it uses, and just make a map of the subjects you want in it with a simple(toonish) looking skybox and use some similar toon or 16bit shaders, maybe even 8bit shaders if you can figure out how to limit the color ranges in UT.
Then just take as many screenies as you like! :P
How do you think I made my SIG? :;)
Like Chris said though, you will need to provide a more specific description of the subject matter you want included in them.
Meanwhile though you might look here:

The lighting on that picture gave me an idea, though its partially unrelated to the picture.
I thought the lighting was nice, and figured a sunrise would be good for generating such a light on a character.
This was made by using Photoshop to create the sunrise background, and using 3DS Max to create the actual rendering of the image. This is just one big model scene.
