This is what u do.
Copy your user.ini (so you dont have to reconfig your settings)
Then you gota reinstall ut2004 :/
Only way to really fix it.
To save yourself next time, copy all of the .ini files in your System folder (ut2004.ini mainly) and stick it someplace safe. That way, if it breaks again, you just stick in the ini's and you're good to go.

Your CD key is invalid because something has changed in your UT configuration or the registry.
Or you are trying to run a copy of UT that was not installed on your computer but on another computers hard drive and put into your computer.

I would suggest doing a search first next time, since this has already been discussed in our forums.

So you might try this:

I just re-downloaded it myself to make sure that it was still there and working.

Hey everyone i need some help when i try to start Unreal Tournament 2004 i get an error it says Your CD key is invalid any idea's on how to fix it?
