Hey, what's up Floridian Sponges!
I'm going to Costa Rica on thanksgiving with Jorge Junior.
Someone can give me any tips about Costa Rica?
This is my first trip there.
Good waves for all.

Aloha Andre
Ionly stay @ central Pacific side. Ad MAnuel Antonio resort. It would help to know if you mean central pacific or caribean. BUt if you said north. You are definatly going to NOrth Pacific. There is a lost of breaks around the area. Its pretty constant @ the north. There might be some spots that you will need a 4x4 truck to get in. But there are also otherones that are walking distance.
Stay most you can @ NOrth! Roca Bruja break

| Andre are you going to the Pacific side??....I'm assuming Central Pacific ( Jaco, Coco) north Pacific is the call better breaks and less crowd. driving north hit Playa Negra and my favorite spot Playa Langosta just before Tamarindo. Avoid Tamarindo.....very crowded( good night life ). Keep going norht you got Playa Grande and Esterillos.....the breaks keep going on and on...good luck

| North sounds good for this time of yr. Also Carribean should be considered. Salsa Brava maybe. I would skip central and head straight east. some swell showing.

I've only surfed up north in the summer, but Playa Grande, Playa Negra, the Tamarindo Rivermouth, and the reef in Tamarindo are the only spots I've really gotten good. Further north you've got spots like Witchs Rock and further south there are beach breaks around Nosara.
Good luck!
