DR south coast is kinda good in summer, but swells only last 2, 3 days max, size is not as big as the north shore season but 6ft glassy waves are still very good. The problem is that the south coast is in the metropolitan area so nothing is cheap.
I think (im not shure) that pacific ocean is a better option, anyway I dont know what is the best season for mexico, costa rica etc.. you should do your homework on that. |

No granade....PR on summer depends too much on tropical depresion and hurricanes swell that sometimes never hit....Its no like winter when there is always something on the north coast due to the cold fronts...
Trust me I travel to PR every other week.. |

I was planning on going to PR next year in the summer too. There have to be some waves during that time.
Are you sure there are NO waves? |
